About the opportunity
QIAGEN offers Sample to Insight solutions, products and services that enable customers worldwide to advance science, improve patient outcomes and gain valuable insights from biological samples. Our innovative technologies, including the QIAstat-Dx syndromic testing system, empower healthcare and research professionals to achieve rapid, accurate diagnostic results.
QIAGEN is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Molecular Diagnostics Account Manager to drive sales and market adoption of QIAstat-Dx instruments and consumables. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare institutions, laboratories, and clinical decision-makers to promote QIAstat solutions for syndromic infectious disease testing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for QIAstat-Dx systems and consumables.
  • Identify, engage, and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, laboratory managers, and clinicians.
  • Provide product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on training to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical support teams to ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, track opportunities, and report progress using SFDC.
  • Represent QIAGEN at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.

Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree (Life Sciences, Business, or a related field of study preferred).
  • 5+ years diagnostic sales; hospital lab equipment/instrument/capital sales
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
  • Consistent top performer; President's Club or similar
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Territory: Pacific Northwest - Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii (Ideally based in Seattle or Portland).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling molecular diagnostic instruments in clinical or laboratory settings.
  • Strong understanding of molecular diagnostic technologies, including PCR and syndromic testing.
  • Familiarity with hospital procurement processes and laboratory workflows.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and reimbursement policies related to molecular diagnostics.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $110,000-130,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a commission plan, and generous benefits.
