POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a full-time maintenance position with a very specialized skillset responsible for set up, general maintenance, repairs, and service of Production equipment in our plant. This individual will be a critical part of our Maintenance Department and will be in charge of set up, troubleshooting, corrective actions, and preventive maintenance on a given shift.  * Robotics training to be provided upon hire. Rotating 3-2-2 Schedule. 12-Hour Shifts.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on production equipment in facility
  • Troubleshoot and make repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
  • Build and repair mold screens
  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance repairs and other preventative maintenance work, replacing defective parts as needed
  • Prepare and setup machinery for scheduled production runs 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:  

 Required:  

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training

• Strong mechanical aptitude & attention to detail

• Strong computer skills

 Ideal Candidate will possess:

• Strong pneumatic component and maintenance experience

• 2-5 years technical training (exposure to high-speed equipment and maintenance)

• 3+ years of related experience in the paper or fiber/molded pulp manufacturing industry

• Electrical skills; use of multi-meters, ability to check voltage, amp draws, etc. strongly preferred

• Welding skills using Arc and wire feed welders a bonus
