Job description

Job Summary:

Blow Mold Facility Operators set up and operate the Blow Mold machinery according to established company standards to achieve key performance indicators and to ensure that all warehouse goods (e.g. finished goods, raw materials) are loaded, unloaded and stored accurately and safely according to established company standards

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Makes controlled adjustments to equipment in accordance with SOP's.
  • Maintains the Blow Mold machinery and associated support equipment.
  • Performs and documents hourly bottle quality inspections.
  • Addresses equipment problems in an aggressive manner, as to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinates master sanitation activities to uphold GMP's of the room.
  • Ensure work orders are generated for process improvements and maintenance items.
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with operations.
  • Operates equipment such that bottle is handled IAW Hood standards.
  • Upholds quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated area.
  • Ensures that all required maintenance is performed.
  • Communicates with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Ensures that all resources are available for production run.
  • Setup oncoming shift for successful run.
  • Expected to perform any duties necessary to support the team.
  • Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre shift team meetings, and by meeting with off going Blow mold operators and/or Technicians.
  • Understand and operate blow molders and support equipment.
  • Vigilantly monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems, and possible operational improvements.
  • Various tasks involving the responsibility of the food safety and quality of company products.

Education, Experience, Skills and Competencies:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3+ years experience in manufacturing.
  • Intermediate Computer Skill (i.e. Word, Excel, etc).
  • Mechanical Skills
  • Excellent Troubleshoot Experience.
  • Ability to work well with people.
  • Communication skills are a must.
  • Multi-tasked Individual.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently.
