Description

Alliance Precision Plastics, a custom injection molder and tool builder in the Rochester NY area since 1953, seeks Journeyed Mold Makers / Tool Makers to build, and/or repair molds of various sizes and complexity to the tool drawing specifications. In some cases from part prints, often assuring production meets customer demands.

  • Train and manage apprentices, special machine operators, mold maintenance, and Moldmakers
  • Establish method of construction for molds to meet the hours and delivery quoted
  • Must know and understand all aspects of machines, machining, and tool build
  • Assist the Tooling Manager in the quoting of molds and other duties as necessary
  • Responsible for all procedures and work instructions related to the position
  • Overtime as required
  • Maintain secondary equipment or mold support as needed or assist with building fixtures
  • Must be able to perform other related duties as necessary
