Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mold Setup Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and setting up molds for injection molding. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Duties

  • Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot molds for plastics blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion processes using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Move molds and clean the mounts
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust machine operations for optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality inspections during setup to ensure molds meet specifications and standards.
  • Handle materials safely using proper materials handling techniques and operate forklifts as needed within the warehouse environment.
