Main Duties & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Validation Inspector is responsible for performing detailed measurements and inspections to support product validation during new mold launches and engineering changes. This role ensures parts meet all dimensional and quality requirements before production release. The Validation Inspector works closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to maintain compliance with customer specifications and internal standards.
Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily tasks in accordance with Intertech's Policiesand Procedures
โข Complete daily tasks in accordance with safety rules and regulations
โข Perform inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and history files,inspection, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures andinstructions, and other related documents
โข Support and follow all ISO 13485 standards
โข Identify and report non-conforming material and product
โข Understand and apply product traceability
โข Perform preliminary and progressive production inspections, verify functionaloperation, final inspections, and verify paperwork
โข Skilled at conducting tests and inspections of products, services, orprocesses to evaluate quality or performance
โข Investigate or report questionable inspection results
โข Verify and document specified manufacturing process steps
โข Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure compliance
โข Perform area inspections to ensure compliance withapplicable standards and specifications
โข Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel
โข Perform general 5S activities daily
โข Ability to work independently
โข Demonstrate ability to read, understand, interpret and implement technicalprocedures and work instructions.
โข Able to retrieve information, train and transfer knowledge to team members
โข Take ownership of working area and implement improvements with minimumsupervision
On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Denver, Colorado location.
Qualifications
Previous injection molding, manufacturing, QA experiencepreferred
โข Previous experience in an ISO 13485 regulated environment preferred
โข Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Products
โข Basic math skills
โข Familiar with the and use of various inspection tool, methods, and techniques
โข Ability to read and write in English is required
โข Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
โข Knowledge or understanding of basic statistics, or use of Statistical ProcessControl (SPC) preferred
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
