Main Duties & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Validation Inspector is responsible for performing detailed measurements and inspections to support product validation during new mold launches and engineering changes. This role ensures parts meet all dimensional and quality requirements before production release. The Validation Inspector works closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to maintain compliance with customer specifications and internal standards.
Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily tasks in accordance with Intertech's Policiesand Procedures
โ€ข Complete daily tasks in accordance with safety rules and regulations
โ€ข Perform inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and history files,inspection, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures andinstructions, and other related documents
โ€ข Support and follow all ISO 13485 standards
โ€ข Identify and report non-conforming material and product
โ€ข Understand and apply product traceability
โ€ข Perform preliminary and progressive production inspections, verify functionaloperation, final inspections, and verify paperwork
โ€ข Skilled at conducting tests and inspections of products, services, orprocesses to evaluate quality or performance
โ€ข Investigate or report questionable inspection results
โ€ข Verify and document specified manufacturing process steps
โ€ข Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure compliance
โ€ข Perform area inspections to ensure compliance withapplicable standards and specifications
โ€ข Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel
โ€ข Perform general 5S activities daily
โ€ข Ability to work independently
โ€ข Demonstrate ability to read, understand, interpret and implement technicalprocedures and work instructions.
โ€ข Able to retrieve information, train and transfer knowledge to team members
โ€ข Take ownership of working area and implement improvements with minimumsupervision
On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Denver, Colorado location.
Qualifications
Previous injection molding, manufacturing, QA experiencepreferred
โ€ข Previous experience in an ISO 13485 regulated environment preferred
โ€ข Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Products
โ€ข Basic math skills
โ€ข Familiar with the and use of various inspection tool, methods, and techniques
โ€ข Ability to read and write in English is required
โ€ข Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
โ€ข Knowledge or understanding of basic statistics, or use of Statistical ProcessControl (SPC) preferred
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
