Mohs Surgery Assistants often encounter challenges such as managing a fast-paced workflow while maintaining high attention to detail during tissue processing and documentation. They must also balance direct patient care with the technical tasks of preparing specimens and assisting the surgeon, all while ensuring strict adherence to sterile techniques. Additionally, effective communication and coordination with the surgical team are essential, as they often need to anticipate the surgeon’s needs and respond quickly to changes during procedures.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Mohs Surgery Assistant, and why are they important?
