Job description

Medical Assistant NOW! 

DPS is now hiring a Medical Assistant for a Dermatology Clinic that can float to Willowbrook, The Woodlands and Kingwood. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.  

Medical Assistant:

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Willowbrook, The Woodlands and Kingwood.

Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 Hourly (based on experience) 

Temporary to hire   

Medical Assistant Responsibilities: 

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs
  • Assist provider with dermatology procedures and patient care
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits
  • Document patient information in the EMR system
  • Provide back-office clinical support and maintain patient flow

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant certification required

Job Requirements: 

  • MUST have 1+ year of dermatology experience required (not cosmetic or aesthetic).
  • Float to other locations as needed. (Required)
  • MOHS experience preferred
  • EMA EMR experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of back-office clinical procedures
