We are looking for a talented Paint Process Engineer to join our growing team. A Paint Process Engineer supports and maintains operation of the paint shop with focus on application technology.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for painting robots, application technology (e.g., ESTA, flame treatment), and visualization systems.
  • Develop and refine preventive maintenance procedures and intervals.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to reduce downtime and defects.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and technical supervisors on paint materials and chemical performance.
  • Provide on-shift support to resolve process irregularities.
  • Verify and approve cleaning protocols and delivery notes.
  • Ensure all activities meet internal standards, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Coordinate with chemical suppliers to ensure consistent paint performance.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors regarding breakdowns, downtime, and corrective actions.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):

  • Technical/Mechanical Certification and/or classes
  • Durr Robot Experience Preferred
  • 7+ years of experience working with robots
  • Work Autonomously
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Knowledge of Paint Process and Paint Chemistry
  • English language skills
