Job Summary:

A Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trucks, heavy equipment, and semis to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role involves using specialized tools, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills to keep these vehicles and equipment in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspection and Diagnosis:

- Perform thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.

- Use diagnostic tools and procedures to pinpoint problems accurately.

2. Repair and Maintenance:

- Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.

- Service and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, hoses, and cylinders.

- Welding and fabrication work for structural repairs and modifications.

3. Electrical and Electronic Systems:
