Job Title: ServiceNow GRC / IRM Consultantย 
Location: Remote (MST Time)
Long Term Contract โ€“ W2/C2C

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join a fast-growing and dynamic team within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Technology (GRCT) organization of client. This role is instrumental in designing and delivering scalable, efficient, and optimal solutions across the Compliance and Risk domains, with a strong focus on ServiceNow platform configuration and modern technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules. You will work closely with Engineers, Product Owners, and Staff Engineers to drive solutions that meet strategic business needs on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions to support compliance and risk management needs.
  • Actively participate in the full development lifecycle โ€” including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Deliver well-documented technical/implementation design artifacts and solution specifications.
  • Provide accurate development and implementation effort estimates.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and mentor team members on design patterns and best practices.
  • Lead the configuration and setup of ServiceNow modules, workflows, integrations, scripting, ACLs, and UI policies.
  • Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; align with the broader testing strategy.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business requirements into functional technical solutions.
  • Contribute to technical roadmap planning and architectural recommendations, including third-party tool evaluations and evolving platform capabilities.
  • Work within a Scrum team using Agile/SAFe methodologies and tools (e.g., Rally).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of total development experience in enterprise application development.
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, specifically with IRM/GRC modules.
  • Strong programming knowledge including JavaScript, REST APIs, XML, Jelly scripting, Java, and AngularJS.
  • Proven experience in ServiceNow configuration โ€” including scripting, UI policies, integrations, CMDB, and workflows.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in developing JavaScript utilities and full-stack development.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) hands-on experience (5+ years).
  • Exposure to Machine Learning or Generative AI technologies.
  • Deep understanding of GRC/IRM trends and industry best practices.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments and cross-functional global teams.
