YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Manager, Production Quality for Modular Power Solutions is a facility-based role responsible for quality assurance and validation of quality control throughout the full product lifecycle for modular enclosures and skid-mounted systems serving data center, mission-critical infrastructure, high-tech, and energy customers. This position owns the execution of project- and product-specific Quality Plans at the facility level and ensures that quality requirements are defined early, implemented consistently, and verified at each stage of design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, and delivery. This role reports to and is functionally managed by the Regional Quality Manager, who provides the overarching Quality Management System (QMS), policies, and guidelines. The Manager, Production Quality is responsible for deploying, enforcing, and continuously improving these requirements locally while serving as the primary quality authority on-site.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Serve as the on-site quality authority, ensuring adherence to corporate and regional Quality Management Systems (QMS).

  • Approve and maintain facility-level Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and all quality documentation.

  • Establish and enforce quality hold points, witness points, and FAT readiness, with authority to stop work when quality, safety, or compliance risks arise.

  • Lead quality assurance across the full product lifecycle, integrating quality into design reviews, procurement, manufacturing, and testing processes.

  • Conduct and oversee audits, inspections, and FATs, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, mission-critical infrastructure standards, and applicable codes (UL, NEC, NFPA, IEC, CSA, ASME, AWS).

  • Validate inspection, testing, and verification activities, ensuring nonconformances are identified, resolved, and verified for effectiveness.

  • Maintain traceability of quality records, documentation, and shipment readiness based on verified QC results.

  • Define and enforce supplier and subcontractor quality expectations, reviewing documentation, inspections, and corrective actions to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), leveraging quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement and defect prevention.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management to resolve design, manufacturability, and process issues.

  • Participate in customer audits, inspections, and quality reviews, acting as the primary facility-level quality interface.

  • Train and mentor personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and implement process improvements to enhance overall facility quality performance.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement functions in manufacturing, assembly and fabrication environments, ISO-9001 preferred

  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); preferred.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position.

  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 10-12 years of quality experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial assembly environments.

  • Experience with modular systems, skid-mounted equipment, enclosures, or industrial integration projects.

  • Strong working knowledge of quality systems, inspections, and NCR/CAPA processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.

TRAVEL:
  • up to 10%

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
