Summary of Responsibilities:

We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Manager Real Estate to lead a talented team responsible for acquiring, managing, and protecting the real estate and right-of-way assets that support ATC's mission. In this role, you'll help shape the future of energy infrastructure while leading a team that works at the intersection of property rights, stakeholder engagement, project delivery, and strategic business initiatives.
This is not a traditional real estate management position. You will play a critical leadership role supporting infrastructure projects that strengthen energy reliability, enable economic growth, support renewable energy development, and serve communities across our region.

Essential Responsibilities:

What You'll DoLead & Develop a High-Performing Team
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop real estate professionals and contracted resources
  • Foster a collaborative, process-focused, high-performing culture
  • Support organizational growth and lead continuous improvement efforts
  • Help guide the team through changing business needs and emerging priorities
Drive Real Estate & Right-of-Way Strategy
  • Oversee acquisition and management of ATC real estate and right-of-way assets
  • Develop strategies that support transmission construction, maintenance, and operational initiatives
  • Partner with internal business units to identify and deliver real estate solutions
  • Support long-range planning and strategic business initiatives
Build Strong Partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with legal, project management, engineering, environmental, regulatory, and external affairs teams
  • Maintain productive relationships with government agencies, utilities, landowners, consultants, and community stakeholders
  • Represent real estate initiatives with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on property-related matters across the organization
Lead Through Influence
  • Negotiate and oversee contracts and agreements for real estate and right-of-way services
  • Establish policies, standards, and best practices
  • Guide complex property acquisition and management activities
  • Ensure successful execution of project-related real estate activities and reporting
Ensure Operational Excellence
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory, legal, and company requirements
  • Support budget planning, resource management, and performance tracking
  • Leverage technology, data, and process improvements to strengthen business outcomes
  • Promote safety, accountability, and operational effectiveness across the team

The targeted base pay for this position is $137,900 to $160,900 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more.

*The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience, academic achievements, internal equity, and business needs.
