Description:

JANSON is seeking a passionate, purposeful, and problem-solving individual to serve as our Project Manager for our Buildings & Environments team. This position will lead and oversee building and environment projects ranging from dining facilities and commissaries to workspaces. The primary focus of this job is centered on managing cost, schedule, and performance. This role requires someone with the skill sets to manage general construction/ facility modernization projects.

Position Summary

This position will be based at our Headquarters in Fairfax, VA with frequent travel domestically.


Key Responsibilities

· Manage cost, schedule and performance for facility modernization and general construction projects.

· Work closely with JANSON’s Director of Construction.

· Ensure projects are executed on-time and on-budget.

· Respond to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.

· Coordinate with clients and government personnel such as DPW.

· Ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and contract terms are adhered to.

· Coordinate with internal departments such as our in-house design team, subcontractors, and customers to ensure program alignment and success.

Qualifications:

· BS degree or commensurate experiences with at least 3 years of experience in project management.

· Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and drive profit and growth.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work in MS Project, excel and other advanced project management software (such as ProCore.

· Ability to accomplish big picture objectives through a strong focus on detail.

· Prior military experience preferred but not required.
