As a remote-based therapist, you will have the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life while engaging with a vibrant team committed to improving patient outcomes. Our office operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs, ensuring that we meet the diverse scheduling requirements of those we serve.

• Conduct thorough assessments of new patients to identify their needs and treatment goals related to substance use disorders.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that foster recovery and support among clients.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to provide cohesive and comprehensive care.
• administer crisis intervention services during substance-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and stabilization.
• Educate patients and their families on addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources to enhance their support network.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation as per legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to stay informed on the latest practices in substance use treatment.
• Actively contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and outcomes for patients.

This position primarily focuses on individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. Our clientele includes a wide spectrum of ages and backgrounds, reflecting the community's diverse needs. As a therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients through their unique recovery journeys, offering personalized attention and encouragement, while also addressing the challenges that accompany addiction.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• Significant knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a commitment to recovery-oriented care.
• Proven experience delivering both individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by an empathetic, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Strong ability to maintain professional boundaries while adhering to ethical guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency in using EHR systems and various computer applications for documentation and administrative purposes.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient care.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, applicants with advanced training in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or specific evidence-based practices for addiction treatment will be favored. The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome qualified candidates to our team.
