Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays and Fridays remote.

The Advanced Analytics & Modeling Manager is responsible for transforming data into actionable business insights that drive profitable growth, operational effectiveness, and strategic decision-making across Ocean Spray. This role applies advanced analytics, statistical modeling, forecasting methodologies, and optimization techniques to address complex business challenges and support fact-based decision-making.
Working closely with Revenue Growth Management, Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning, Finance, Innovation, and Information Technology, this position delivers analytical solutions that improve business performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize commercial investments. The role serves as a trusted analytical partner, translating complex data into practical recommendations that create measurable business value.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills with a passion for solving complex problems through data and analytics.

A Day in the Life...

Advanced Analytics & Modeling

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance commercial, forecasting, and optimization models that drive growth, improve business performance, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Execute Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) analyses to evaluate marketing effectiveness and optimize investment allocation across brands, channels, tactics, and customer segments.
  • Develop pricing, promotion, and elasticity analyses to quantify business impact and support revenue growth strategies.
  • Design and evaluate controlled experiments, A/B tests, and test-and-learn initiatives to measure business impact and support decision-making.
  • Create scenario analyses and simulation models to evaluate strategic alternatives and support business planning activities.
  • Apply statistical, econometric, machine learning, and optimization methodologies to solve business challenges and uncover actionable opportunities.
  • Conduct ad hoc analytical projects and modeling initiatives to address evolving business questions and strategic priorities.

Business Partnership & Insights

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations, quantify business impact, and communicate results to support fact-based decision-making.
  • Support business initiatives through performance measurement, business case development, and analytical consultation.
  • Collaborate with external analytics providers and syndicated data partners, including Circana and Nielsen, to support analytical initiatives and validate methodologies.

Data & Analytics Excellence

  • Analyze large, complex datasets from internal and external sources to identify trends, insights, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure analytical consistency and quality through standardized methodologies, documentation, and validation practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure data quality, integrity, accessibility, and usability.

Communication & Storytelling

  • Develop clear, compelling, and executive-ready presentations and reports that communicate analytical findings, business implications, opportunities, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams to support alignment and action.

What We Are Looking For:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in advanced analytics, econometric modeling, revenue growth analytics, data science, or related quantitative disciplines.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail, and syndicated data experience strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, SAS, and modern analytics platforms.
  • Experience developing statistical, econometric, predictive, causal, machine learning, and optimization models.
  • Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling, pricing and promotion analytics, trade optimization, controlled store testing, A/B testing, forecasting, and revenue growth management analytics.
  • Experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with Circana (IRI), Nielsen, retail scanner data, syndicated data sources, and internal sales and financial data preferred.
