FTS has an opportunity for an Analyst in Chantilly, VA.

The Analyst provides technical support to define technical spacecraft and ground requirements, support concept development for new capabilities and create models to analyze mission data.

Responsibilities
  • Work on an integrated and collaborative team of government and contractor personnel to create necessary tools to assess capabilities and performance of various satellite systems and configurations
  • Research and document attributes, characteristics and patterns of components used in simulations
  • Create and configure models to produce data, perform data analysis and assist in cost benefit trades
  • Prepare presentations and reports as directed for conveying results of analysis performed
Required Skills/Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with polygraph
  • BS/BA degree
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships, encourage teamwork, and promote cooperation
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
  • Must possess diplomatic, tactful, and strong interpersonal and professional skills to resolve politically sensitive issues
  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Expected Salary Range

$120,000 - $145,000 per year. Placement within the range is determined by qualifications, job-related criteria, experience, internal equity and market considerations.
