ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Implement industry best practices to ensure communications, promotions, and literature meet the needs of the business

Assumes ownership of projects through from initial concept to completion

Responsible for the accurate and detailed presentation and communication of all information

Understanding of marketing and the targeting of customer segments

Able to work on multiple projects, managing time, and prioritizes effectively to meet deadlines

The ability to proactively communicate status; on-time

Creates new concepts for graphics and promotional communication collateral

Handles jobs requiring Web proficiency including page design and changes to existing content

Art directs digital photography

Handles custom projects including coordination, preparation of files, and evaluation of proofs and print

Reviews printer proofs and press approvals


Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience

MUST HAVE - QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5+ years' B2B, B2C, or Agency experience working as a graphic designer

Bachelor's degree required in Graphic Design; an advanced degree is a plus

Advanced proficiency in all Adobe Creative Suite applications, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Web design, HTML5, and Flash modeling

Online video development (product demonstrations, Prezi, webinars, etc.) and video editing skills

Experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical, or another regulated industry is a plus.

Proficient use of MS Office (necessary for day-to-day projects)

Social media experience preferred but not required

Advanced knowledge of production, photography, proof-reading, and photo retouching

Advanced understanding of branding in a B2B environment

Superior attention to detail

Maintains a positive attitude and provides superior customer support

A mastery of project management and communications skills

Strong communications skills to effectively "pitch" creative concepts and art direction

Created on-line media and well versed in Internet marketing trends
