Job Description

Digital Twin Engineer

  • We are seeking a Simulation Scientist with at least 3 years of experience using Simio to develop, validate, and deploy discrete-event simulation models that support operational decision-making, process optimization, and capacity planning.
  • The successful candidate will leverage simulation, data analytics, and digital technologies to evaluate complex systems, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Relevant experience with discrete-event simulation tools such as SIMIO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Simio models for manufacturing, supply chain, or operational processes.
  • Analyze simulation results to identify bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and support business decisions.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define simulation requirements and translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Simio.
  • Working knowledge of Databricks, SQL, and data analysis workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred

  • Experience with Python, process optimization, digital twins, or manufacturing systems analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics and data engineering practices
