  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial)
  • Prior OEM automotive manufacturing experience
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in build model using discrete event simulation
  • Intermediate knowledge of Siemens Technomatix Plant Simulation
  • Basic knowledge in object oriented computer programming (example languages: Python, R, C++, Java, Basic, Simtalk...etc.)
  • Proficient in handling large data sets, including filtering, identifying trends and graphical representation
  • Reading and understanding vehicle assembly technical drawings and conveyor system layouts
  • Knowledge of the inputs required to build an accurate simulation model
  • Able to meet tight project timelines and handle consistently changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to clearly communicate complex topics effectively to a non-technical audience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically: Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to build and interpret simulation models for small to large scale simulation
  • Customer-driven team player with the ability to develop and maintain close customer relationships
