RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking for a AI Engineer, Security Posture & Model Validation in Doral, FL.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Help build and mature AI security capabilities for a brand-new team focused on AI security posture, model validation, and enterprise AI risk management
* Support rollout of an AI security posture management tool across the enterprise; This tool will help red team AI agents, scan and validate AI models, and show AI build materials and related AI inventory/context
* Work with the selected AI security posture management vendor once legal paperwork is complete and help operationalize the tool across the organization
* Contribute to an IGA solution around AI that tracks every permission an AI agent has and is using in real time
* Support related data security posture management work by using that tool to help identify where AI agents have permissions and where they are operating
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (Master's a plus)
* 3+ years of experience (mid-level) in Cyber Security, AI/ML, or security engineering in a large enterprise setting
* Cloud environment (Azure & AWS) security fundamentals; Strong programming/scripting ability (Python); Knowledge of machine learning concepts, secure MCP configuration, Application/API security, and data protection
* Identity and Access Management fundamentals; Hands-on experience with model validation, security tooling and automation, and applying the NIST AI RMF to AI workloads
Python is super important for development. This role will also involve AI agents, AI security posture management tooling, model scanning/validation capabilities, AI red teaming capabilities, IGA tooling around AI permissions, data security posture management tooling, and foundational AI/security concepts such as OWASP/OAuth Top 10-type knowledge.
Strong coding experience is required, with Python emphasized as especially important. We would like someone fluent in AI from both a scripting/language perspective and a foundational security perspective. For this role specifically, candidates need in-depth knowledge of different AI models, how models are trained and secured, model security best practices. and the underlying technology used to secure and validate models.
A strong background in identity and access management is a nice-to-have and is probably the biggest preferred background because IAM best practices are a core security requirement for what he has planned.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
