Server Assistant
Summary
The Kitchen Bistro in Boulder is a community gathering spot featuring a seasonal menu and shared plates set in a modern, rustic atmosphere. The Server Assistant is responsible for supporting the team and helping to create and maintain an exciting, inviting, and progressive environment. This person should be a high-energy, outgoing individual who will help to foster connections with friends, family, and the community through service, food, and drink. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, eager to learn and adaptable. We offer a unique, fun environment with the opportunity to grow within the company.

Responsibilities
  • Service aspects include guest relations, and the ability to perform objectives in a timely and efficient manner with a focus on quality, while always maintaining an environment of hospitality.
  • Keen attention to detail; fully engaged in serving the team and striving to provide a superior level of service; model and promote teamwork.
  • Desire to support a team in all capacities during service including performing skills and responsibilities of a server assistant, busser, food runner, etc. This may include greeting tables, providing water, and coordinating the timing and delivery of each course for each table.
  • Assist with side work and proper opening and closing of the restaurant.
  • Exemplify hospitality and conscientiousness in all interactions with guests, vendors, and the community.
  • Promote and embrace the restaurant’s community and culture by demonstrating respect, positive energy, dependability, honesty, initiative, outgoing nature, and a pleasant, professional appearance.

Working Conditions
