Position Summary...The Senior Manager, Global Marketplace Risk - Seller Screening Strategy will define and execute the strategy that enables scalable, accurate, and data-driven onboarding decisioning across Walmart Marketplace. This leader will drive policy and risk decisioning frameworks that balance marketplace growth with customer and seller trust, ensuring onboarding decisions are both operationally scalable and aligned with business objectives.
This role sits at the intersection of risk strategy, data, policy, and technology. The ideal candidate brings deep analytical expertise, systems thinking, and strong business judgment to solve complex onboarding and trust challenges. They will partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Analytics teams to continuously improve onboarding decision accuracy, strengthen feedback loops, and scale intelligent decisioning systems from seller application through the end of the onboarding journey.What you'll do...Key Responsibilities
  • Own the strategy and performance of onboarding decisioning, continuously improving portfolio health, decision accuracy, and marketplace trust while supporting business growth.
  • Identify emerging risks, performance trends, and opportunities through data, analytics, and audit insights, translating findings into actionable policy and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive cross-functional prioritization and execution by partnering with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Analytics to deliver scalable decisioning improvements.
  • Define and evolve the decision intelligence strategy by expanding, evaluating, and optimizing the data, signals, and capabilities that inform onboarding decisions.
  • Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and data sources, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to strengthen decision quality, coverage, and operational efficiency.
