Job description

This role is for an innovative Director GenAI Engineering and Transformation Senior Manager (Hybrid) to drive the adoption of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic flows, focusing on process efficiencies, automation, simplification, and risk reduction across Finance / Controllers. This position involves close collaboration with various technology teams to push the adoption of Generative AI technologies and agentic flows throughout Financial Controller's applications and processes, ensuring full alignment with Citi AI strategies and directives.

Required Technical Expertise:
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Language Models (LLMs), agentic frameworks, vector stores, and search algorithms.
  • Experience in building AI Agent workflows using an AI orchestration platform such as LangGraph, Crew AI, Autogen or ADK
  • Fluency in at least two programming languages, with a strong preference for Python and Java. Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript and Golang is also highly valued.
  • Experience with relevant frameworks such as Spring (AI, Boot, Core, etc.), N8N, Flask, LangChain, LangGraph, ADK, and MLFlow.
  • Proficiency in database technologies, such as Oracle, Postgres, or MongoDB.
  • Experience designing and implementing REST and WebSocket APIs.
  • Familiarity with one of the major cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Experience with build and deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins and Gradle.
  • Experience in model risk management, guardrails development, and developing end-user adoption pathways for AI/GenAI solutions.
  • Team building, people management, and mentoring skills.

General Experience & Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Agile delivery, product management, and value stream methodologies.
  • Proven track record in producing high-quality project artifacts and senior management reports within technology or risk & controls domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and lead product working groups, driving consensus on requirements and facilitating the development and implementation of processes, data, and system designs.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new skills and effectively navigate complex organizational structures.
