Job Description:
At Regions, the Treasury Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) Analyst is a pivotal part of helping Regions achieve its strategic objectives by incentivizing business partners through a risk-adjusted framework. This position focuses on capturing different elements of market risk, such as rate risk and liquidity risk, in the overall process of managing risk-adjusted returns.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Evaluates the suitability of market risk elements in the FTP process in coordination with other risk modeling efforts in Treasury (Funding, Liquidity Stress Testing, Asset Liability Management (ALM), Debt and Capital, and Investment Portfolio Management)
  • Performs ongoing maintenance and development of FTP methods for both existing and new businesses/products
  • Assists senior analysts and managers in communication with relevant business, finance, and risk partners regarding FTP governance and other related topics
  • Assists in the production of FTP reporting including attribution analyses and FTP offset reporting
  • Works with Finance partners to support profitability reporting
  • Assists senior analysts and managers in supporting the FTP governance process by maintaining documentation and process controls encompassing an understanding of the increased regulatory focus (SR 16-3)
  • Provides balance sheet management and product pricing analyses to aid management decisions pertaining to organic balance sheet growth
  • Participates in balance sheet valuations of potential investments using FTP knowledge to support Corporate Development and Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Assists in development of FTP cash flow modeling in Quantitative Risk Management (QRM ALM software) to enhance connectivity with other risk modeling systems
  • Works with cross functional teams in a variety of ad hoc analyses

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel

Preferences
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) experience
  • Programming and/or Structured Query Language (SQL) experience

This role assists in the FTP forecasting process.
This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
