Job description

About Mod Op
Mod Op is a full-service advertising agency able to offer clients a full suite of solutions. Mod Op can offer you access to low-cost, high-quality health care options and a team of enthusiastic, collaborative and motivated coworkers who see career development and personal development as intertwined.
At Mod Op, we're more than just an agency-we're a team of forward-thinking professionals who are passionate about driving client success. We believe in fostering meaningful relationships, collaborating across disciplines, and delivering impactful solutions that help businesses grow. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for building lasting client partnerships, we'd love to hear from you. Join us and be part of a company that values innovation, creativity, and excellence in everything we do.
About the role
  • We're looking for a Paid Social Specialist who knows their way around the major social platforms and is ready to jump in, take ownership and help drive smart, effective social media campaigns
  • This role is perfect for someone in the DALLAS, TX area with around 3 years of hands-on paid social experience who loves campaign strategy, audience development, platform execution, optimization, reporting and finding the "so what?" in performance data.
  • You'll help manage paid social campaigns from setup through reporting, working across platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat and TikTok (and potentially others depending on client needs).
  • To be clear: this is not a content creation role. Our creative teams and/or clients provide the creative assets - your job is to make sure those assets are launched, targeted, optimized and working hard in the platforms.
  • Success in this role means you're detail oriented, curious, proactive, organized and comfortable moving quickly across multiple clients and campaigns.
  • You'll be a part of a collaborative, fast-moving media team with a hybrid work schedule, that likes smart ideas, clear communication, clean campaign builds and celebrating wins.

What you'll do
  • Own day-to-day execution and optimization of paid social campaigns across multiple client accounts.
  • Build, QA, launch, monitor and optimize campaigns within paid social platforms.
  • Develop audiences, targeting, bidding, budget and optimization recommendations based on client goals.
  • Translate client objectives into smart paid social strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Monitor pacing, performance, budgets, KPIs and delivery to ensure campaigns stay on track.
  • Analyze campaign results and identify actionable insights, trends, opportunities and next steps.
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting with clear performance takeaways - not just data dumps.
  • Help prepare client-facing reports and presentations that tell a compelling story with data.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns launch accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate across Mod Op's SBUs to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Partner with platform reps and any other third-party vendors to stay current on best practices, testing opportunities and platform updates.
  • Keep a close eye on campaign details because naming conventions, tracking, budgets and QA matter.
  • Proactively recommend optimizations, tests and new approaches that can improve client performance.
  • Bring new ideas to the table! We love curiosity, thoughtful experimentation and people who ask, "What if we tried this?"

Qualifications
  • Around 3 years of hands-on paid social experience, preferably in an agency environment
  • Experience building and managing campaigns in platforms such as:
    • Meta Ads Manager
    • TikTok Ads Manager
    • LinkedIn Campaign Manager
    • Google Ads
    • Or any other social platforms
  • Strong understanding of paid social metrics, including CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, CVR, impressions, engagement, etc.
  • Comfortable working with budgets, pacing, reporting and performance analysis.
  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel, platform reporting dashboards or similar tools.
  • Ability to spot trends in data and turn them into clear recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy - you know that one tiny detail can make a big difference.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort contributing to client-ready reports and presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities while keeping your cool.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across different teams.
  • Natural curiosity about paid media, social platforms, consumer behavior and what makes campaigns perform.
  • Openness to feedback, coaching, testing, learning and improving.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to contribute to a smart, creative, supportive agency culture.
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, business, data/analytics or another related field.
Bonus Points
  • Experience working with both B2B AND B2C clients
  • Experience working with lead gen, e-commerce, awareness, traffic and full-funnel campaign strategies.
  • Familiarity with tracking setup, UTMs, pixels, conversion events and platform troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in a creative or integrated advertising agency environment.
