Job description

Main Activities:
The SLQM endeavors have direct impacts on the performance of the quality objectives (failure rate, guaranteed cost, warranty failures, NCBS survey, etc.) with rapidly visible consequences for Stellantis and its partners (QUAL/EQCF QUAL/region, PUR/SQD, Plants Quality, PDT/ Cross Car Line Project Engineering).
 
Function Environment:
The quality objectives are defined on a multi-year cycle (5 years). The quality convergence plan is built to meet these objectives. It is reinforced by the reactivity process whose objective is to circumscribe incidents as soon as possible by curative handling. All product quality and process changes are staked through the Project Change Management Process. In regard to partners, the SLQM is the entry point for quality topics and commits Stellantis works to meet their expectations.
 

Results to Produce:

 • Ensure the achievement of quality objectives of QUAL for PRS.
 • Propose technical solutions to be applied in mass production and by Aftersales division for the handling customer field quality questions.
 • Decide the settlement of a customer field quality question.
 • Propose customer modernization scenarios
 • Represent PRS towards QUAL, MFG, Aftersales during the CUQ / Crisis Cell.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality or Development V-Cycle 
  • 2+ years experience with field warranty quality     
  • Problem solving skills, quality process, product design (system, architecture), industrial skills, project work, cooperation context control                                                                                                                                                               

Behavioral and/or Managerial Skills:                                                

  • Ability to convince, communicate, manage the handling of quality issues
  • Ability to analyze risks and their consequences
  • Ability to mobilize and lead transversal teams
  • Autonomy and flexibility to learn new toolings and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, DFSS, 8D, Red X, 6 sigma, etc)
  • Background in engineering, vehicle/mechanical plant operations, or project teams
  • Intermediate to advanced AI or Copilot user experience
