Pay: $17/hour + 50 per mile (~$60/day in mileage)
Location : Norfolk, VA & Surrounding areas (We have service areas both North and South of the bridge)
Shifts: We are hiring for a 4am - 12pm shift and an 11 am - 7pm shift.

Job Overview:
FAMCO Logistics, in partnership with Easton Coach, is hiring responsible and safety-minded drivers to provide essential transportation services to community members with mobility needs. Drivers will use their own vehicles and be classified as full-time W2 employees. This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals who rely on reliable, compassionate transit every day.

We're looking for safe, reliable drivers, here's what success looks like:

  • 21+ with valid VA or nearby NC license
  • Your own reliable sedan or van (under 12 years old)
  • Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations)
  • Pass a background check, DOT physical and pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
  • No hit-and-run incidents or false accident reports or habitual traffic violations
  • Comfortable using a smartphone
  • Friendly, professional, and reliable

    *Driving for the company, having a reliable vehicle, and valid driver's license is required for employment.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Deliver high-quality service by assisting passengers in and out of vehicles when needed and ensuring a smooth, respectful, and supportive experience at each pickup and drop-off location
    • Provide safe, timely, and professional door-to-door transportation for passengers
    • Use a company-provided app to receive and manage ride assignments and clock in and out
    • Maintain communication with dispatch regarding any delays or changes
    • Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of vehicles and uniforms to ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness
    • Represent the company with professionalism and courtesy at all times
    • Collect passenger fares and deliver to the supervisor
    • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and safety protocols
    • Attend required training sessions, and take random drug tests
    • Keep accurate trip logs and submit reports for any incidents or service interruptions

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Clock in and start your route using our dispatch app
    • Pick up passengers from homes or care facilities
    • Drive approximately 100-130 miles locally
    • Help passengers enter/exit vehicles as needed
    • Drop off tickets on Friday at the end of your shift
    • Track your trips and mileage and get paid biweekly
