Mobile X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mobile X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging services for patients in non-traditional clinical environments including homes, long-term care facilities, institutions, and LTACH settings. The technologist will travel between patient locations, operate portable imaging equipment, capture high-quality diagnostic images, and transmit studies to radiologists through the electronic medical record (EMR) system. This role requires strong technical skills, patient interaction, and the ability to manage mobile imaging equipment safely and efficiently.

• Travel to patient locations including homes, care facilities, institutions, and LTACH settings to perform diagnostic imaging exams

• Receive exam assignments through dispatch and coordinate travel to patient sites

• Transport, load, and unload mobile radiology equipment safely from company vehicle

• Perform mobile X-ray examinations while ensuring proper patient positioning and image quality

• Transmit diagnostic images to radiologists using the EMR system

• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records

• Clean, disinfect, and maintain imaging equipment according to infection control standards

• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals

• Follow radiation safety guidelines and regulatory requirements

• Maintain readiness of equipment and properly store company vehicle and imaging equipment when off duty

• Active Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain licensure) in Oregon and Washington

• Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) or equivalent credential

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist

• Knowledge of medical terminology and imaging procedures

• Experience working with EMR systems

• Ability to transport and operate mobile imaging equipment safely

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and healthcare teams

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including potential on-call assignments
