Job description

Technical Field Support Opportunity Summary:

The Technical Field Support role will provide internal and external product and technical support for a specific power generation, HVAC mobile equipment,heavy-duty diesel product line, or other OEM products by performing the following duties.

Job Duties:

  • Schedules and conducts Branch training for power products.
  • Compares the training levels of the technician to factory-determined training requirements, identifying areas of improvement for skills and training.
  • Works directly with customers to resolve any product failures or diagnostic issues.
  • Supports new product and service sales team with technical expertise.
  • Develops and instructs service and sales teams on the use of manufacturer-developed software.
  • Ensures the branch is properly tooled to handle all service situations.
  • Communicates any product changes or information.
  • Directly communicates with suppliers.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or related experience/training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies
  • Computer and software skills including Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
