Job Summary - Security Patrol Officer (7:00 PM - 5:00 AM Shift)
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Patrol Officer to join our team for an overnight patrol shift, Friday- Sunday (7:00 PM - 5:00 AM). This role requires a strong, safety-focused driver who can effectively patrol assigned areas during nighttime hours while maintaining a visible security presence. The Patrol Officer is responsible for protecting property, assets, and residents by conducting mobile patrols, identifying potential risks, and responding to incidents in a timely manner. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vehicle patrols of assigned communities, properties, or routes throughout the shift
  • Maintain a high-visibility presence, especially during overnight hours, to deter criminal or suspicious activity
  • Safely operate a patrol vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas during patrols
  • Identify and address safety hazards, suspicious behavior, or unauthorized individuals
  • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or service calls
  • Issue warnings or coordinate the removal of trespassers when necessary
  • Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and, when necessary, local law enforcement

Qualifications
  • Strong driving skills with a clean driving record (required)
  • Previous experience in security, patrol, or public safety preferred
  • Valid Security Guard License (as required by state regulations)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in low-visibility or overnight conditions
  • Excellent observation, situational awareness, and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working outdoors and in a mobile patrol environment for extended periods
