Position Summary: As a Mobile Security Officer, your duties encompass conducting unarmed patrols both indoors and outdoors, managing access points, supervising CCTV and alarm systems, preparing reports, discouraging criminal behavior, and fulfilling other responsibilities as outlined in directives. This position is well-suited for individuals with a strong focus on customer service, exuding a friendly and dynamic demeanor.

Responsibilities
You will conduct the following responsibilities upholding DMAC, A Tarian Company's commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community:
  • Security Officers are responsible for maintaining security and safety throughout the organizaion - and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.
  • Perform patrols of assigned areas on foot or in vehicles.
  • Maintain vigilance for irregularities or potential security threats.
  • Promptly respond to alarms and liaise with law enforcement or fire services as needed.
  • Enforce rules and regulations, including prohibition of loitering or smoking.
  • Facilitate access for authorized individuals while monitoring entries and exits.
  • Ensure compliance with company property protection protocols by departing personnel.
  • Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, maintaining precise written records.
  • Supervise visitor check-ins and inspect trucks for clearance prior to entry.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • Completed High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Valid ID and/or driver's license
    • Ability to meet DMAC, A Tarian Company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
  • Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
