Mobile Mammography Driver | Part-Time

We are currently seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join our team. This position offers a unique change of scenery by means of working on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, and ability to meet new people from various facilities. Position Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join our growing Mammography team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable and employee-centric organization. You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.
Anticipated Schedule:
  • Scanner route runs Monday-Friday shift varies
  • Occasional overnights
  • Weekly guarantee of hours

Responsibilities:
  • You will assist in the patient-care capacity by escorting patients from the medical facility to the mobile unit, while ensuring excellent patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality (we will train you!)
  • Safely relocate the equivalent to 26' straight truck to medical facilities along a dedicated route in accordance with DOT rules and regulations
  • At each location, you will conduct set-up and tear down of the trailer
  • Some administrative tasks required, including time/activity reports, billing, drivers' logs, and any applicable maintenance, mileage, or inspection forms

Qualifications:
  • High school Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to drive or experience driving equivalent to 26' straight truck. SMS is willing to train
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must possess valid Drivers' License. CDL NOT REQUIRED
  • Must have acceptable driving record
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and DOT physical
