Support plant operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility and production equipment while promoting a safe, efficient, and continuously improving work environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and work with single-phase and three-phase power distribution systems
  • Perform mechanical repairs on facility and plant equipment
  • Perform light fabrication, including welding and pipefitting
  • Troubleshoot equipment using multimeters and general hand tools
  • Learn and work with air compressors, chillers, heating units, and exhaust fans
  • Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating boom lifts
  • Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
  • Maintain 6S standards throughout the facility
  • Support the Rittal Production System through preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and leaders
  • Attend required training sessions and developmental workshops
  • Carry a company phone during normal working hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work first shift and overtime as required
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of experience in one or more skilled trades including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems
  • HVAC experience is preferred, but not required
  • Completion of a technical or vocational education program preferred
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner
