X-Ray Technologist

Position: X-Ray Technologist / Radiologic Technologist
Shift: Days – 8 AM–8 PM
Schedule: Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Call: 1 weekday 8-hour call shift per week
Local Rule: Must live 100+ miles away
Setting: Acute Care / Hospital
 

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using fixed and portable X-ray equipment.
  • Provide X-ray services in the OR, Emergency Department, and portable/bedside settings.
  • Perform radiographic procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and department leadership.
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety.
  • Operate mobile radiographic equipment throughout the hospital.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologic technologists, nurses, physicians, and other hospital staff.
  • Follow radiation safety and infection-control procedures.
  • Provide holiday coverage when required during the contract.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist experience required.
  • Acute care hospital experience required.
  • OR experience required.
  • Portable X-ray experience required.
  • ER experience required.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.
  • Current state/district Radiologic Technologist license required.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Fluoroscopy experience preferred.
