Position Summary: Madison Core Laboratories Phlebotomist's are responsible for efficiently and accurately collecting blood and specimen samples for laboratory analysis, depending on their specific facility. Decatur, Priceville, Cullman, Falkville, and/or Hartselle and surrounding areas. (Working Hours could range between 5:30am- 5:00pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples- based on facility needs
  • Identify patients and their personal information using a form of ID and/or medical records
  • Ensure quality and quantity of collected samples
  • Label samples correctly and send or deliver for testing
  • Answer related patient questions and provide useful information
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or traveling
  • Follows instructions and other duties as directed by supervisor
