X-Ray Technologist

Job Title: X-Ray Technologist

Profession: Radiologic Technologist

Specialty: Imaging

Duration: Permanent

Shift: M-F

Hours per Shift: 8.5

Experience: Minimum of 1 year level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility.

License: Not specified

Certifications: BLS and ARRT required

Must-Have: Comfortable working in the emergency department, with inpatient and portable imaging, and in the operating room. Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging.

Description: Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment. Evaluate images for technical quality. Experience with EMR systems including EPIC and Sectra. Familiarity with radiologic equipment such as GE, Phillips, and CareStream. Assigned to a department but expected to float if needed. Will work with students and perform competency check-offs for students. Mask fit required.
