K&R Staffing is currently seeking experienced Weld Grinders<\/b> for a well\-established manufacturer specializing in architectural doors, frames, hardware, and specialty metal products<\/b>. If you take pride in producing high\-quality finishes and have experience working in a metal fabrication environment, we'd love to hear from you.
<\/p>Responsibilities:
<\/h3>\n

  • Grind, smooth, and finish welded metal components to meet quality standards.
    <\/li>\n
  • Remove excess weld material, slag, and imperfections using hand and power grinders.
    <\/li>\n
  • Blend welds to create seamless, professional finishes on steel products.
    <\/li>\n
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
    <\/li>\n
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and cosmetic appearance.
    <\/li>\n
  • Safely operate grinders, sanders, and other fabrication tools.
    <\/li>\n
  • Work closely with welders and fabrication teams to ensure production deadlines are met.
    <\/li>\n
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.

    Requirements<\/h3>
  • Previous experience as a weld grinder, metal finisher, or fabrication technician required.
    <\/li>
  • Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, or architectural metal products preferred.
    <\/li>
  • Ability to use angle grinders, die grinders, flap wheels, and finishing tools.
    <\/li>
  • Ability to read a tape measure and basic fabrication drawings.
    <\/li>
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
    <\/li>
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
    <\/li>
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
    <\/li>
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
