JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to support the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. Reporting directly to the QA Manager, this role will be responsible for executing both manual and automated testing activities across web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will contribute to the team's adoption of Agile Scrum practices and play a key role in ensuring that business and technical requirements are fully validated before release.
Responsibilities
  • Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing of software applications.
  • Perform manual testing to validate UI/UX flows, business logic, and backend processes.
  • Conduct automated testing using frameworks such as Selenium and Postman, as directed by QA leadership.
  • Document and report defects clearly and accurately using defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to support Agile Scrum development cycles.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
  • Maintain test documentation and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) efforts as needed.
  • Use SQL for validating data accuracy and integrity across systems.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a software QA role.
  • Experience with manual testing practices and common QA documentation standards.
  • Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is preferred.
  • Basic SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test plans precisely.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality software and proactive problem solving.
