Job description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for an LME for our industrial client who is located in Salem, Oregon.

DETAILS

  • Graveyard Shift: 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts (TBD upon hiring)

  • Wage: $44.16/hr to start

Licensed LME Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.

  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Licensed LME Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED Certification required.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance required.

  • Must possess knowledge of electrical schematics, charging systems, stationary and mobile equipment.

  • Candidates must be able to maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental or state regulations.
