About the Role
As a
CBRE Mobile HVAC Technician, you will provide maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and general facilities support for a portfolio of retail locations supporting a major telecommunications client throughout the Baltimore market. This mobile position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys diagnosing HVAC issues, working independently, and ensuring critical building systems operate safely and efficiently.
This job is part of the
Engineering and Technical Services function. The team is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational reliability for building equipment and systems across client facilities.
In this role, you will primarily perform HVAC service and repairs while also supporting basic electrical, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance needs. You will travel between assigned sites, respond to service requests, and help maintain a positive experience for client teams and retail store personnel.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment to restore system performance and minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Respond to service requests and complete corrective maintenance activities at multiple retail locations.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair lighting systems, including lamps, ballasts, drivers, fixtures, and related components.
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance repairs as required.
- Review assigned work orders, estimate labor and materials, and document completed work accurately.
- Assist with the installation, modification, and replacement of building equipment and systems.
- Support energy management initiatives by helping ensure building systems operate efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Inspect facilities and equipment for compliance with applicable safety standards and building requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, store personnel, vendors, and CBRE team members regarding maintenance activities and service updates.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance documentation, and inventory of parts and materials.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and client-specific requirements while performing work.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair experience.
- General knowledge of commercial building systems, including lighting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work across multiple locations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive and problem-solving mindset.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, stooping, and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds or more.

$32.00-$36.00 per hour. Compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, certifications, education, training, internal equity, and market considerations.

Mobile Role Requirement: This position requires travel between multiple client locations within the assigned service area. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
The pay range for this position is
