Job description

AAA Club Alliance is seeking a Mobile Solutions Specialist to join our Automotive Services Technology team in Wilmington, DE. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work Tuesday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
The Mobile Solutions Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting mobile technology assets, troubleshooting technical issues, partnering with internal teams, and helping improve technology solutions that support our field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain technology inventory, equipment records, and documentation related to wireless devices, repairs, and system issues.
  • Utilize cloud-based applications and mobile device management platforms to configure, deploy, manage, and support mobile devices including tablets and mobile phones.
  • Partner with System Engineering and IT Help Desk teams to maintain appropriate access, permissions, and support for Roadside Assistance technology users.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure technology solutions are being used effectively and provide training to new and existing users on technology best practices.
  • Monitor and respond to ServiceNow support tickets while meeting established service level expectations.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and implement solutions for moderately complex technology, accessibility, availability, and operational issues.
  • Provide onsite technology support at contractor and fleet locations as needed, including support for in-vehicle mobile technology.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and occasional overtime to support business needs.
  • Contribute to technology enhancement initiatives, system improvements, and process documentation efforts.
  • Research, test, and provide recommendations on new technology solutions that improve Roadside Assistance operations and the member experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent education, technical training, and experience will be considered.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in an IT software/hardware installation, support, or technical operations role preferred.
  • Experience supporting mobile technology, hardware, and software applications.
  • Experience with mobile device management solutions (such as SOTI MobiControl) and mobile operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, or similar technology platforms.
  • Mobile Technology and/or Operating System certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Salesforce Field Service mobile applications preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of AAA membership and services is strongly preferred.

  • The starting base compensation for this position is $53,848 - $75,593.
