Overview

We are seeking a Contract Brand Specialist to support the marketing, launch, growth, and live-service operations of MLB The Show Mobile.

This role will be responsible for execution of integrated marketing campaigns, player engagement initiatives, cross-functional projects and asset production, contributing to the ongoing success of the Mobile business.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, passionate about mobile gaming and sports, comfortable working across multiple teams, and eager to grow their skills in brand marketing, live-service operations, and mobile growth strategy.

Responsibilities

Mobile Campaign Execution

  • Drive the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for MLB The Show Mobile.
  • Coordinate timelines, assets, approvals, and deliverables across internal and external teams.
  • Assist with launch campaigns, content updates, seasonal programs, and promotional initiatives.
  • Maintain campaign trackers, status reports, and project documentation.
  • Helping create and evolve strategy for marketing of product

App Store & Platform Marketing Support

  • Coordinate assets, copy, and featuring nominations for event marketing on App Store and Google Play.
  • Partner with external vendor on App Store Optimization (ASO), including keyword research, metadata updates and localization.
  • Partner with external vendor on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), including test strategy, asset development and execution.
  • Track platform merchandising, featuring opportunities, and partner programs.

Live Service & Customer Engagement Support

  • Assist with the execution of live-content marketing campaigns and player engagement initiatives.
  • Support CRM, lifecycle marketing, retention, and reengagement programs.
  • Collaborate with product team on in-game messaging, content announcements, and promotional calendars.
  • Monitor player feedback, community conversations, and emerging opportunities.

Creative & Performance Marketing Support

  • Assist in the development and trafficking of creative assets across marketing channels.
  • Support A/B testing efforts for creative assets and app store content.
  • Collaborate with paid media team to monitor campaign performance data, review takeaways and align on optimizations.
  • Contribute ideas for improving player acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including paid media, product, analytics, creative, community, CRM, store publishing and external marketing agencies.
  • Work with insights teams to determine player insights to inform marketing strategy and execution
  • Track project milestones and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure marketing materials and deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Manage asset reviews with studio, legal and licensors, consolidating and applying feedback to gain approval.

Reporting & Market Insights

  • Monitor holistic marketing performance and deliver ongoing reporting.
  • Track competitor activity, mobile gaming trends, and sports marketing best practices.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and player engagement.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2-4 years of experience in mobile app/game marketing
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Passion for gaming, sports, and mobile experiences.

Preferred
