Fleet Wash Technician – Mobile Maintenance

Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: Commission

Schedule: 14/7
Location: Odessa, Texas

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Fleet Wash Technician to join our Mobile Maintenance team. This position is responsible for keeping company fleet vehicles and heavy equipment clean, presentable, and ready for service. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

The Fleet Wash Technician will travel to designated locations as needed and perform exterior and interior cleaning of fleet vehicles while following company safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash, clean, and detail fleet vehicles & heavy equipment according to company standards.
  • Perform exterior washing, rinsing, drying, and spot cleaning.
  • Clean vehicle interiors, including floors, seats, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces as required.
  • Safely operate pressure washers, hoses, vacuums, cleaning equipment, and related tools.
  • Inspect vehicles after washing to ensure quality and identify areas requiring additional attention.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store equipment and supplies.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and proper chemical-handling guidelines.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory needs replenishment.
  • Assist the Mobile Maintenance team with other basic cleaning or maintenance-related tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a professional attitude when working with customers, drivers, and other team members.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining consistent quality standards.

Job Requirements

  • Previous fleet washing, vehicle detailing, janitorial, maintenance, or similar experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical work for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Comfortable working with water, cleaning chemicals, hoses, and pressure-washing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be willing to travel to different fleet locations as part of the mobile maintenance operation.

Physical Requirements

This position is physically active and may require:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Lifting and moving equipment and supplies.
  • Working around water, cleaning chemicals, vehicles, and mechanical equipment.
  • Working outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and other changing weather conditions.
