GDIT/ARMA-Global is currently pursuing a qualified candidate to serve as a Systems Administrator Principal supporting the sustainment of critical technologies for our customers.

Responsibilities

As a Systems Administrator Principal, you will support customer mission objectives by delivering resilient sustainment services, contributing to organizational Development & Engineering efforts, and enhancing enterpriselevel MDM/MCM capabilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and outstanding customer service. This role directly supports Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Content Management (MCM) services, providing device provisioning, profile management, and administration of global mobile enterprise services.

You'll be critical to executing solutions in support of customer outcomes. Specifically, you'll be:

  • Staying current on new technology platforms, software, tools, and capabilities that improve efficiency and reduce cost while supporting service expansion and customer mission needs

  • Supporting project milestones and providing handson technical development, integration, implementation, and sustainment of mobile device services

  • Supporting the execution of approved technology strategies and fostering productive partnerships that deliver resilient, highly available mobile management solutions

Role-Specific Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience and working knowledge of information systems, applications, and enterprise IT ecosystems

Expert knowledge of Mobile Device Management platforms (e.g., MobileIron, AirWatch/Workspace ONE), including policy management, device configuration, lifecycle management, and administrative console usage

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Patience and professionalism when working with customers of varying technical proficiency

  • Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership and to promote continuous learning that benefits program success

  • Commitment to delivering resilient, reliable, and costeffective solutions that meet enduser and mission requirements

  • Familiarity with DoWAF 2.0 architectures, mobile device features, enterprise mobility policies, and enduser use cases

Additional duties include:

  • Perform a full spectrum of duties supporting enterprise mobile devices in a largescale environment

  • Work as part of a team delivering MDM and MCM services

  • Maintain configuration management of approved device baselines using MDM/MCM tool suites

  • Ensure mobile device security by administering settings and controls within MDM platforms

  • Maintain device and software inventories and ensure licensing compliance using automated MDM tools

  • Provide Tier2 technical support for user issues and escalate to Tier3 when required

  • Interact professionally with customers to resolve support issues

  • Maintain procedures, checklists, and documentation related to MDM/MCM service delivery

  • Provide 24/7 oncall support as needed

  • Support enduser device software installation, configuration, and administrative tasks

  • Provide recommendations for technology enhancements and MDM platform upgrades

  • Participate in daily operations and serve as a backup for peers when required

  • Document the enterprise mobile device environment and create related artifacts supporting customer objectives

Security Requirements

  • Must have a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI (TS/SCI)

Work Environment

  • Work is primarily performed in an administrative office environment

Education, Certification and Experience Requirements

  • BS in a related technical discipline or equivalent related experience plus required experience

  • 5+ years of combined DoD and/or Commercial industry IT service experience

  • At least 2+ years' experience using MDM platforms (e.g., Mobile Iron, AirWatch/Workspace ONE) for policy, configuration, and device lifecycle management

  • 2+ years of recent and relevant experience implementing or sustaining enterpriselevel MDM solutions, with emphasis on iOS or Android device ecosystems

  • Certifications;

    • Current 8570.01-M IAM Level II certification Required

    • Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) Desired

The likely salary range for this position is $88,130 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
