Job description

The Mobile Device Specialist (formally Technical Support Specialist) provides customer service for our Government Client with cell phone and smartphone inventory and solves technical problems on mobile devices.

Essential functions:

Manage the mobile device program, including: maintaining a cell phone inventory, and providing printer consumable ordering information based on inventory and usage metrics. Essential job skills are technical abilities, smart phone support, troubleshooting & repair on iPhones and flip phones. Diagnose problems and make minor repair of mobile devices, computers, and other IT equipment. Provide monthly reports on inventory and usage metrics.

Inventory management receiving shipments, restocking, and must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the mobile device inventory with a high level of accuracy. Subcontractor is not excluded from providing labor in support of other Task Areas as required, if it is deemed to be in the best interests of the Program.







Education






  • High school diploma or GED required






Experience





  • IT experience is highly desired. Must have extensive experience with MS Office (Excel, Access) and computer competences.

  • Proven ability to maintain professionalism, with a commitment to customer service.

  • Two years of IT experience is strongly preferred.






License, Cert or Registration





  • Current drivers’ license

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

  • Strong preference given to candidates who meet all job requirements and possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
