Batteries Plus Bulbs of Idaho Falls, ID is seeking to hire a full-time Retail Sales Associate / Device Repair Technician to provide exceptional customer service while making sales and repairing our customers' devices. Our store is open 7 days a week so our Retail Sales Associates / Device Repair Technicians enjoy a rotating schedule.

This position pays a starting wage of $12-$14/hour based on experience. Our Retail Sales Associate / Device Repair Technician can also plan on excellent benefits including dental, vision, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) plan with a match as well as extensive training, bonus plans, and an employee discount. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE / DEVICE REPAIR TECHNICIAN

As a Retail Sales Associate / Device Repair Technician, you have been provided with excellent training. Utilizing your extensive product knowledge, you provide spectacular customer service. Any clerk can sell a pack of AA batteries, but you are a trusted advisor that can recommend the right battery for the application whether it's a cell phone, truck, or recreational vehicle. You also assist commercial and retail customers with light bulb purchases. You love chatting with people and are able to make personal connections easily and ensure that every customer feels welcome and valued.

As part of your Device Repair Technician duties, you repair our customers' cell phones, tablets, and other devices. You also test, install, and replace batteries in vehicles, watches, key fobs, cell phones, and more. The training that you have been given gives you the confidence to assist our clients with their technology troubles. And, if challenging situations arise, you take charge and provide great customer service. With your excellent organizational skills, you keep our store clean and organized as well as maintain inventory. You feel good about representing a company with a solid reputation and playing an important part in their success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Retail and/or customer service experience including cash handling
  • Basic understanding of electronics

Previous device repair experience is preferred, but not required. Can you quickly pick up on new processes and technologies? Are you attentive to detail? Can you effectively multitask and prioritize? Are you customer service-oriented? Do you have strong communication skills and the ability to inform, teach, and train? Are you a team player? If so, you may be perfect for this position!
