Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mobile Device Support Technician to provide hands-on and remote support for enterprise mobile devices, primarily Apple iPhones and iPads. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications on mobile devices, managing devices through Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, and delivering exceptional customer service to end users. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, application support experience, and a willingness to learn and support internally developed mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for Apple iPhones and iPads in an enterprise environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile hardware, operating systems, connectivity, and applications.
  • Support Microsoft 365 mobile applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other productivity tools.
  • Manage mobile devices through an MDM platform, including device enrollment, configuration, security policy enforcement, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform hands-on device setup, deployment, replacement, and maintenance.
  • Assist with application support, including both commercial and internally developed mobile applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve email synchronization, authentication, and access-related issues.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and procedures within the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams while ensuring timely communication with end users.
  • Support mobile device lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, upgrades, and device refresh initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Apple devices, including iPhones and iPads.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications on mobile devices, particularly Outlook.
  • Hands-on experience providing direct end-user support for mobile devices.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting devices using an MDM solution.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a mobile technology environment.
  • Experience supporting mobile applications and a willingness to learn custom or internally developed applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune.
  • Knowledge of mobile security policies and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID user and device management.
  • Experience supporting Android devices in addition to Apple products.
Top Skills
  1. 2+ years of experience supporting Apple iPhones and iPads, including Microsoft 365 applications.
  2. Experience supporting mobile devices through both hands-on troubleshooting and MDM platforms.
  3. Application support experience, including Outlook and other mobile productivity applications, with the ability to learn and support custom applications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Norwell, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
