RESPONSIBILITIES:  Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications  Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C#, VB.NET, and T-SQL code  Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications  Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems  Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization  QUALIFICATIONS:  Proficiency in C# and VB.NET, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems  Familiarity with the .NET framework and all of its versions starting with 2.0  Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and all of its versions starting with Microsoft SQL 2000  Familiarity with caching mechanisms such as .NET cache, NCache, memcached, and Amazon Elasticache  Familiarity with NoSQL solutions such as mongoDB and Redis  Experience in developing and maintaining online e-commerce systems that are both shopping cart and subscription based.  Experience in developing and maintaining streaming and download-based audio and video services.  Experience in developing and maintaining http-based API frameworks  Experience in developing and maintaining mobile and desktop browser-based applications  Strong understanding of object-oriented programming  Skill for writing reusable C# and VB.NET libraries  Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns  Knack for writing clean, readable C#, VB.NET, and T-SQL code  Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application  Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes  Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and SVN  Excellent written and verbal English skills  Familiarity with AWS hosting, storage, and delivery services such as S3, EC2, CloudFront, and Glacier  BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
