The DRAM Customer Enablement team serves as the bridge between Micron's newest memory innovations and the customer platforms that deploy them, enabling successful adoption across cloud, AI, enterprise, client, mobile, and next-generation computing environments.
The DRAM Customer Enablement Intern will gain hands-on experience working with groundbreaking memory technologies, modern computing platforms, and software automation solutions. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with experienced engineers while contributing to projects focused on DRAM validation, platform enablement, reliability analysis, and engineering productivity improvements. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and enthusiastic about learning both hardware and software technologies in a collaborative engineering environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support the bring-up, validation, characterization, and debugging of server, client, and mobile platforms using Micron DRAM technologies.
  • Analyze system and customer data to identify performance trends, reliability concerns, and opportunities for product or process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain software tools, automation frameworks, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Python and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams on DRAM reliability, fault management, RAS (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability), and customer enablement activities.
  • Leverage AI Assisted development tools, including Claude Code, Code Assist, and similar platforms, to improve software development, debugging, documentation, and engineering automation workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Basic programming experience in Python, C/C++, or a comparable programming language.
  • Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills through coursework, projects, or relevant experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn emerging technologies, including AI Assisted engineering and development tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework or project experience in computer architecture, memory systems, semiconductor devices, or hardware validation.
  • Experience developing software applications, automation tools, or data analysis solutions using Python.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, SQL, cloud computing platforms, or large-scale data processing workflows.
  • Experience using AI Assisted, Generative AI, Code Assist, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Roo Code, or similar development platforms.
  • Knowledge of data visualization, statistical analysis, performance benchmarking, server hardware, or system validation methodologies.
