Description:
SC RETIREMENT SYSTEM INVESTMENT COMMISSION IS SEEKING A RESULTS DRIVEN INDIVIDUAL WITH THE APPROPRIATE SKILLSET TO REDESIGN THE PUBLIC FACING WEBSITE TO BE MORE USER FRIENDLY, AS WELL AS FOR ONGOING MAINTENANCE. THIS COULD ALSO INCLUDE COLOR SCHEMA MAKEOVER THAT WILL TRANSFER TO A SHAREPOINT INSTANCE. 

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • WORK UNDER GENERAL SUPERVISION TO REVIEW CURRENT DESIGN OF AGENCY WEBSITE.
  • RECOMMEND SPECIFICATIONS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE AGENCY. 
  • ASSIST IN IMPLEMENTATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. 
  • WILL REPORT TO THE IT MANAGER.
  • POTENTIALLY WILL NEED TO PRESENT PROGRESS TO SMALL MEETING OF INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
  • SKILLED IN WEBSITE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
  • EXPERIENCED WITH HTML5
  • MUST HAVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO COMMUNICATE WITH PROJECT STAFF.
  • KNOWLEDGE OF ADA COMPLIANCE
  • KNOWLEDGE OF WEB PRIVACY STATEMENTS
  • ABILITY TO CREATE MOBILE WEBSITE
  • ABILITY TO UTILIZE STYLESHEETS
